The Southeast Community Arts & Business Festival (SECAB) returns in 2025, continuing our mission of celebrating creativity, entrepreneurship, and community in Ward 8 and beyond.

With support from our sponsors at the Anacostia Arts Center and collaborations with the Anacostia BID and ArtToGoGo, SECAB is building on its tradition of showcasing the best in local talent, small businesses, and cultural programming.

🌟 Festival Highlights

• Local Artist Showcase featuring musicians, poets, dancers, and creatives from across the DMV
• Vendor Marketplace spotlighting small businesses, artisans, and food vendors
• Runway Fashion Show with DMV-based designers and stylists
• Latin Heritage Month Programming with bilingual music, dance, and cultural activities
• Live Performances including Go-Go, DJs, and spoken word
• Youth & Family Activities with interactive workshops and resource booths
• Business Coaching & Financial Literacy Sessions

🎯 2025 Festival Goals

This year, we are committed to expanding SECAB’s impact through:

• Raising $5,000 for the SECAB Scholarship Fund to support community students and entrepreneurs
• Growing participation from local businesses through vendor enrollment and partnerships
• Building stronger bridges between arts, business, and culture in Southeast DC
